Essa fanfic me recordou disso, e mais que isso, o poder que algo escrito tem em atingir quem o le. Fanfics are a writing exercise, not necessarily romances by themselves, this is just one of thousands of genres. This reminded me of this fanfic, and more than that, the power that has something written in reaching those who read.

Há muito tempo que leio fanfics, e uma coisa que realmente me incomoda é que alguns assuntos sérios são trazidos e romanceados com tanta fragilidade, que perdem a importância de serem tratados primeiramente. Eles são banalizados. I read fanfics for a long time now, and one thing that really bothers me is that some serious issues are brought up and romanticized so fragile, they lose the importance of being treated in the first place. They are banalized.

Uma coisa é escrever sobre fantasias, deixar isso bem claro, e escrever sobre BDSM e seus limites definidos. Outra é escrever sobre escravidão humana, escravidão sexual humana e não ter a consciência do que isso envolve. Trazer sempre um HEA como se tudo fosse fácil de esquecer e consertar. Mesmo quando a vitima está tendo ajuda, pensar que lemons vão curar a alma dela e dar o que os leitores querem. Que Edward sempre será o salvador da donzela, e tudo ficará bem. One thing is to write about fantasies, and make that clear, and write about BDSM and its limits. Another is to write about human slavery, sexual slavery and human does not have the awareness of what it involves. Bring always a HEA as if everything were easy to fix and forget. Even when the victim is having help, thinking that lemons will heal her soul and give what readers want. That Edward will always be the rescuer the damsel and everything will be fine.

Congratulo esta autora por ter coragem de escrever esta fanfic e ter a determinação de manter a realidade viva, mesmo que o "opressor seja alguém atraente e com o nome Edward". Porque isso é tão vital de lembrar: os opressores podem ser lindos, atraentes, e ricos. Podem ser conhecidos, amigos ou mesmo familiares. Isso não os transforma em pessoas melhores. Eles não irão acordar um dia e se arrepender do que fizeram por milagre, pedir perdão e libertar suas vitimas. I congratulate this author for having the courage to write this fanfic and have the determination to keep the reality alive even if the "oppressor is attractive and named Edward." Because that is so vital to remember: the oppressors can be beautiful, attractive and wealthy. May be acquaintances, friends or even family. This does not transform them into better people. They will not wake up one day and regret what they did by some miracle ask for forgiveness and release their victims.

As vitimas são compradas, espancadas, estupradas, tem seus direitos básicos violados, suas identidades roubadas, é um processo emocional complexo que os carrascos fazem para quebra-las. Para tirar tudo delas e deixaram no medo e terror e obediência. Eles fazem isso, acreditam nisso, que tem este poder, e não irão abrir mão dele e do mercado que isso movimenta porque é errado. Victims are purchased, beaten, raped, have their basic rights violated, their identities stolen, is a complex emotional process that executioners do to break them. E mesmo que alguém procure ajudar esta vítima, muitas e muitas vezes, não é assim tão fácil.  O mais complicado é que isso não é apenas ficção, é uma realidade tão dura. Mais uma fic no Reino Twi vira livro. Agora é o melhor amigo da Icy, que torna-se Sylvain Reynard e começa a capitalizar em cima da Saga. O que mais me impressiona são tantas fics tornando-se livros com a mesma premissa do macho alpha rico / dominante / atormentado e a menina inocente carente / simples / inteligente ... e ainda vendem? [Another fanfic of the Twi Kingdom turns a book. Now is Icy´s best friend that becomes Sylvain Reynard and begins to capitalize on the Saga. What impresses me most are so many fanfics becoming books with the same premise of rich alpha male / dominant / tormented poor and innocent girl / simple / smart ... and still selling?]

Eu li esta fanfic há um bom tempo, na época que estava en vogue, e acheia exageradissima. Até tinha algo bom, mas se perdeu no exagero de capitulos e situações. Espero que ao contrário de MotU ao menos a editem e corrijam e mudem algo. Não apenas os nomes. [I read this fanfic a long time, when it was en vogue, and found it over. There was something even good, but lost it in the hype chapters and situations. I hope that unlike MotU , at least, they will edit and correct and change something. Not only the names]

Ok, ja que o fandom enlouqueceu de vez, e voltamos as trevas (pior que em 2008-09), vamos ver se algo lembra o que são estes dois juntos. Um pouco de alegria aqui. E esperança, e amor e paz tambem. Opnion: Love Hurts & Rose rules!

Rose said al all: Compassion.

I was relieved to read her latelly writtings on her blogger. Because I was think what a hell am I doing in this crazy fandom? [Rose disse tudo: Compaixao.

Fiquei aliviada de ler o que ela escreveu ultimamente no blogger dela. Porque estava pensando que merda estou fazendo metida neste fandom louco?]

And  scare me too see how extreme is this fandom (ok, I already knew, but never less...). Weeks ago, no one could criticize even the dirty converse she wore in the RC, and now she just a big whore. She's human, she made a fat and big and ugly mistake, she will have to bear the consequences. And she can lose a lot: work, love, friends, fans, respect, credibility ... But I do not agree to crucify her like that. [E me assusta o quanto extremista ele pode ser (ok, já sabia, mas mesmo assim...). Semanas atrás, não se podia criticar a Kristen mesmo indo no RC com tênis imundos, e agora ela é apenas uma grande vadia. Ela é humana, ela fez um grande e horrível erro, e ela vai arcar com as consequências. E ela pode perder muito com isso tudo: trabalhos, amor, amigos, fans, respeito, credibilidade... Mas não concordo em crucifica-la assim]

What's wrong with you for god sake?! Shame on you to ever called yourselves Robstens! Opnion: Stay Strong from Fiorels

I really like Fiorels Robsten videos, she has this joyfull sensibily. Even in the dark times... (Eu realmente gosto dos videos Robsten da Fiorels, ela tem esta sensibilidade alegre. Até mesmo nas trevas...)

And I really loved what she wrot in her Tumblr recently. (E realmente amei o que ela escreveu no Tumblr dela recentemente)
 

And it´s so damn wrong and simplistic say that because you do not want harm to Kristen (and you KNOW that shw screw up...big time!), you just not care about Rob´s pain. I just agreed with Fiorels stantement, specially this: [É tao errado e simplista dizer que quem porque voce nao quer mal a Kristen (e voce SABE que ela fudeu com tudo!), voce nao se importa com a dor do Rob. Eu apenas concordo com a declaração da Fiorels, especialmente nisso:]

Algo que me deixa realmente feliz é o sucesso de uma autora. Publicar seu material, ter o retorno financeiro do seu esforço, poder criar mais. Contar suas historias. Ter o controle delas.

E não confundo isso com publicar fanfics. [Something that makes me really happy is the success of an author. Publish your material, have the financial return of your effort, can create more. Count your stories. Have control of them. And I do not confuse this with publishing fanfics].

Sempre defendi que nem todas as autoras de fanfics "famosas" precisam criar esta necessidade de publicar suas fanfics, ao invés, de ir escrever seu próprio material original. E que nem todas precisam tratar o fandom como se fosse seu e ainda de uma forma tão prepotente e infantil. [Always defended that not all  famous  fanfics authors need to create this thing  to publish your fanfics, instead, go write your own original material! And not all of then need to treat the  fandom badly and still in such an arrogant and childish form of relation]. 

A autora Tara Sue Me sempre foi alguém pertencente ao fandom a quem admirei. Um material de fanfics brilhante, cânone das BDSM fanfics, com uma qualidade e fidelidade muito melhor que as variantes como a Icy e sua MotU, e que sempre foi muito acessível e simpática com seus leitores. E novamente, vem-me surpreender de maneira positiva, ao começar a escrever seu próprio material original e não negar sua origem em fanfics.[The author Tara Sue Me has always been someone from the fandom whom I admired. A brilliant fanfics  material, BDSM fanfics besties, with much better quality and fidelity that variants such as Icy and his MotU, always very approachable and friendly with her readers too. And again, she has surprised me -in a positive way- to start writing her own original material and not dening her fanfic origin]

I'm Back! or You Knew Me As Tarasueme

It's been awhile, but I'm back. As you may have guessed, I'm working on Original Fiction. You can get a glimpse of what I'm working on by checking out my Works in Progress page.


I don't have plans to write again as Tarasueme, but as long as Fanfiction allows, my stories will remain on their site. I have always been adamant that The Submissive, The Dominant, and The Training will never be pulled to published. That hasn't changed.
